Home remedy to clean silverware.
Silverware have tendency to change colour with the contact of impure air. Air quality in New Delhi is nothing to boast about. This is a small two pocket vessel used to keep mouth freshener etc. Some use it to keep chewing tobacco as well. I keep green cardamom and fennel seeds in each chamber respectively

This is the picture taken in the middle of cleaning.Note the difference between both covers. Right one has been cleaned but left is still black.
Wonder recipe for cleaning?
Colgate toothpaste. My guess is any toothpaste which is white and has fluoride will work. With small piece of cloth rub silverware and wash it.
