Shoes ..............

So many shoes at one place. Taking off shoes before entering religious place is common in India. But this temporary arrangement to manage collection of shoes in full public view was unusual.

Each shoe or group is given a token number. A corresponding card is given to owner of shoe. Bring the token card and collect the shoe. So simple yet efficient. 

I wonder where I have seen that the shoe is returned after polishing the same?

Was it Golden Temple Amritsar? Not sure.
