Ban on paan gutka in New Delhi

In a mechanical decision, Delhi Government has banned trail sale of chewing tobacco. Argument is that it is reaching in the hands of children inspite of ban on sale of of tobacco products to children. Tobacco as part of beetle leaf or paan is centuries old tradition and habit.

Is it not interesting that failure to administer previous regulatory provision is the reason to pass a prohibitory law?

Here is the call for protest by paanwala. 

Such mindless prohibitions without considering price of enforcement is a legacy of Congress Party. Kejriwal is often called congress 2.0 as his policies are no different.

As regards prohibition, it only rendered an entirely legal business into contraband and which operating in plain sight.
