In past two decades prices of onions were matter of concern for every Government except the present. Onion is an active ingredient in food therefore must not cost more than the cost of vegetables. Here is a vegetable vendor announcing cost of onions today 60 per kg. and on Tuesday Rs. 70 per Kg.
