An ancient tribute to mothers day: Bibi ka maqbara in Aurangabad India.

My friend Sushil has shared with me these two photographs after his recent pilgrimage to discovery of India. This is the history of 'Bibi-ka-Maqbara aka 'Taj Mahal of Deccan' or the Second Tal Mahal of India.
And this is the 'Bibi-Ka-Maqbara' or the 'Mausoleum of the lady'. Picture does not justify the majesty but it does convey the glimpse of the grandeur.

There is misinformation on the web that Aurangzeb built this Mausoleum. He did not. It was Aurangzeb's son Azam Khan who built it for his mother Rabia-ul-Durani aka Dilras Banu Begum. Though much less maintained than Taj, it is in good condition. A recommended destination for travellers.
